據雅虎新聞報導：「南韓首爾梨泰院10月29日因慶祝萬聖節湧入10萬民眾，卻爆發嚴重推擠傷亡事件，數百人死傷，引發全球關注。總統尹錫悅下令徹查，並宣佈全國哀悼一周。」最近另一次的嚴重踩踏傷亡事故，是10月初在印尼的一場足球比賽釀成足球史上最嚴重的災難之一，人群在幾個出口處衝撞，發生踩踏事故，至少有135人包括數十名兒童在事故中身亡。

【開一扇窗】初到貴境隨筆
我們夫婦二人移居加拿大生活剛好三個月的時間。雖然是初到貴境，但感受到這兒的生活很寫意，生活的適應上沒有太大的問題，很喜歡這兒的七月，到晚上九時天色才開始變黑，對我們來說是一個很新鮮的體驗，日長享受日光的時間也長，好像多了一些時間使用。
